When fitting an exhaust, you will always have to use a gasket to connect two pipes and stop exhaust gases from leaking. This is where our 2-bolt composite gaskets come in. In two of the most common, widely used sizes, there is a gasket for nearly every exhaust system.

Exoracing 2-bolt composite gaskets are graphite-coated and constructed from 2 perforated metal sheets with a high-temperature/pressure carbon layer in the centre. Being made to OEM specs guarantees a perfect fitment between flanges.

Our composite gaskets are constructed from multiple layers, allowing a better seal between flanges with imperfections present and conforming to any defects. 

Gaskets are used in automotive applications to seal two flanges together, such as turbo to the manifold, to create a tight seal without leakage.

When gaskets are worn or split, they can leak exhaust gas, which will cause a loss of power! We highly recommend resurfacing flanges with blown or distorted gaskets for an optimal seal.

Exoracing 2 Bolt Composite Exhaust Gasket Installation Guide:

Follow our quick and easy step-by-step guide below to get up and running with your new exhaust gasket as quickly as possible. However, if you are unsure about any of the steps below, then please get in touch with a professional who will be able to install it for you.

1. First, ensure the exhaust is cool to the touch to reduce the risk of burns and take any other necessary safety precautions.
2. Next, remove the two nuts and bolts holding the two exhaust pipes together and remove the old blown gasket.
3. Check to ensure that both exhaust flanges are flat and are meeting at a perfectly flat angle. If either of these steps isn't taken, the gasket will likely blow out or leak.
4. Slide the new Exoracing gasket in place and install the two nuts and bolts in reverse order to how you removed them.
5. Torque the nuts and bolts to the factory specification.

Can I Reuse My Old Gasket?

You can if the gasket is still in perfect condition, but we always advise changing them out as they can become brittle and deformed under multiple heat cycles.
