This beautifully crafted high flow charge pipe is for the Ford Fiesta ST MK8 and Ford Puma ST. This product has been created over many days and months of dyno testing and road testing to prove the products credentials. The boost pipes are a direct replacement to the original hot-side charge pipe which is rather restrictive especially at the turbo end. FMBP6 was developed to remove these restrictions and now features a smooth and enlarged bore size creating a vast improvement in air flow and a reduction in pressure drop.
The OEM boost hose was developed with a noise eliminator in place which in turn disturbs the airflow to decrease the turbos acoustics. This also has a detrimental effect on the flow of the turbos boost tract which is eliminated and free flowing with the Forge boost pipes in place.
Installation of the product is made simple due to the detailed instructions given and to the thoughtfully engineered design allowing this to be a straightforward bolt on installation.
The main construction of FMBP6 is a 4 ply silicone hose which can withstand boost pressures that can be experienced on tuned and remapped engines. It is also not susceptible to heat soak unlike aluminium boost pipes. The longevity of Forge silicone hoses is such that it will probably out live the lifetime of the vehicle, unlike the OEM hose which will turn brittle over years of heat cycles.
This boost hose kit includes Fluoro silicone lined hose, CNC machined billet coupler, alloy joiner pipe and two hose clamps.
